Arrival

I made it to Shanghai! All by myself! :) Everything went well getting over here, and my new friend, Angie, met me at the train station when I arrived. I'm staying in a local hotel at night and with friends during the day. China is wonderful! I love it here. The feeling of the community in Shanghai's suburbs where I am staying is so secure. Everyone is nice and many people here speak English. It feels safe to walk around the streets here (so long as you watch out for cars!). The traffic really isn't bad at all in this place. It's a school/ business community. Life here doesn't seem too different from the States, and nothing has really surprised me. I really, really appreciate everything people have done to help prepare me for China. My American friend here reminded me that life here in Shanghai is very different than life further inland.

I'm so thankful to be in the country our Father has so surely called me to. I know many people are pr.ing for me, and want to say thanks to you all for that. I feel so anointed with this whole trip – perfectly at peace. I'll take some pics and post them before too long. Thank you all for lifting me up!
